The farmhouse, particularly the kitchen is the heart of every farm. Where you come to warm up after a frosty morning feeding cattle & sheep, or to chat about the day ahead over a cuppa. Join us in Mead’s Farmhouse Kitchen, the door is always open & everyone is welcome.

Monday – Saturday 8:30am – 5:00pm
Sunday & Bank Holiday 9:30am – 4:00pm
We have indoor & outdoor dining available, so you can warm up on a rainy day or enjoy our terrace when the sun is shining.
We are predominantly walk-ins, however for tables of 6 or more please get in touch.
Our kitchen closes one hour before closing time. We serve hot drinks and cakes.

We make all our food fresh using local ingredients where possible, due to this the menus are subject to change dependant on availability.
Afternoon Teas
Our Afternoon Tea offers a range of finger sandwiches, homemade sausage roll, fruit scone with clotted cream & strawberry jam and a selection of cakes.
This is complemented by unlimited ‘Bucks Blend‘ tea from Two Spoons Tea.
Add a warm Cheese Scone with chutney & butter – £3.95 per person
Add a bottle of Prosecco for the party – £19.50 per bottle
We serve our Afternoon Tea at 14:00 or 15:00 on weekdays and cost £25 per person (weekend days upon request).

Please note: the selection of sandwiches and cakes is chef’s choice on the day of your booking. We are able to cater for gluten-free and vegan.
