The Farmhouse Kitchen is the Home of local food and drink. Everything from our tables and chairs to our tea bags is sourced locally!

We are proud to champion all things local and our menu guarantees a taste of the Chilterns. Whether it’s our Home reared beef and lamb or a babyccino made from Local Milk, you can rest assured that when you come to Mead’s you are supporting several local businesses in every delicious mouthful.

We look forward to welcoming you soon!

Our Coffee

Sourced from Woodhill coffee roasters, we serve their Wooden Hill House blend. This is a blend of Fairtrade coffees from Central and South America, consistently roasted to the same degree time and time again. Our house blend, medium roasted, with notes of chocolate and caramel and pleasant aromas of almond.

For every 100kg of coffee sold we plant a tree. Last year we manged to plant 11 trees.

What three words: Brink.pipeline.wicket for the latest tree planting day where we helped plant 350 trees.

Our Tea

Between Big spoon (Giles) and little spoon (Mark) they have travelled the world tasting over 1 million teas on the way. We trust these local chaps to bring us the best tea blends.

They’re signature English Breakfast tea (Bucks blend) is our most popular. Little Spoon’s recipe won the annual blending competition many moons ago.  The Great Taste judges agreed awarding it a star!
